Engineering of world's largest multipurpose cable laying vessel

MULTI.engineering designed the cable laying system for the new-built multipurpose vessel Isaac Newton. Later on some adjustments had to be made to the vessel.

A giant in offshore cable installation

The vessel can install up to 10,700 tons of cable and is thereto equipped with a 7,400 ton capacity turntable above deck and a 5,000 ton capacity turntable below deck.

MULTI's expertise made it possible to gain a good insight into the actual scope, avoiding unnecessary activities.
